Our stay was very pleasant. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed with their breakfast though. The portions were very small and they took long to refill the juice and other items.

This Guest House took my breath away. The cleanliness and quality deserve 5 stars plus. They went out of their way to meet me. I was the only guest for the evening and still they treated me like I was their top customer. They kept the kitchen, bar and living area open for me. When I arrived they asked for my breakfast order, because I had to drive again early I turned it down. The next morning before my departure, they gave me a packed lunch with 2 toasted buns, 2 fruits, yoghurt and a juice. Wow, what a pleasant surprise with amazing customer service. Rooms are clean and luxurious.

Reception was not pleasant. Realized myself the room does not look like the picture I booked. After a long struggle and waiting at reception at another room similar to the reservation booked. Only 1 towel and no hairdryer. After my enquiry, everything is sorted, but would like to have it right from the start.

We stayed at Zebrina for 1 night, the staff were really friendly. We were supposed to check out at 10 but had some trouble. They accommodated us until we could leave later that afternoon. We appreciated their understanding. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was not ready by 15:20 and I had to wait. The room's WiFi was not accessible during the first day/night. During the first night when I returned from dinner the door handle broke and I was stranded outside until I had to break in myself with the help of the staff. One of the colleagues also did not have shower gel and no bars of soap were available as an alternative. Breakfast was also quite small portions, but there was other bread and dry breakfast available. Furthermore, the rest was as one should expect from 4-star.

Zebrina is a beautiful place with very good/friendly people/service, but it is very "crowded". I think they tried to cram too many units/sleeps into the available space. We were there during a thunderstorm and unfortunately there were severe water leaks on the porches and also in the dining area.

The WiFi in my room doesn't pick up, they don't even reply. I couldn't get a meal for one person for the evening, I got there at 5 o'clock and the guy just said he couldn't help me (they came the next day to explain it was because they were short staffed). I went to have breakfast early in the morning, when I got into the room they had already taken my bedding and everything, I hadn't even checked out yet. The owner just said none of that stuff ever happens.

We specifically booked Suite 1 months in advance and when we arrived we were informed it had been allocated to another guest. Our booking reference had Suite 1 allocated to it, but the guest house did not bother to inform us that it is no longer available. Furthermore, they then wanted to put us in a lower classification of room in a dingy corner that smelled of sewage and there had been a smoker in the room before us. We then asked for the same type of room as we had initially booked and they then wanted to charge us an additional fee. We eventually found a room that was far from the sewerage smell and did not smell of smoke. We cancelled our second night's accommodation at Zebrina and found alternative accommodation elsewhere.
Zebrina's staff and facilities were some of the best ever.
If we need to go to that area again I will definitely use them again.

Luxury room, but only one small towel to share. Poor lighting. Wake up in the middle of the night with loud noise. Although it was the air cooler or roof fan, but then not. Later it sounds like pipes in the walls rattling. Held for about 30 min. Bad night and got up tired. Will not stay there again. I feel like I wasted my money. Had to drive at 07:00 so didn't even get breakfast.

Zebrina Guest House was ideal as a base before our departure for the Kruger National Park. The accommodation was comfortable, the service friendly and the breakfast omelet delicious. Zebrina Guesthouse was even better than expected. The location is good, the check-in at reception was comfortable. The room, with its parking right in front of the door, was spacious, clean and very tidy. The nice bed slept comfortably. The WiFi was fast in the room and the comfortable desk made work easy. The view for a sundowner was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious for everyone's taste. We will definitely recommend Zebrina Guesthouse and visit again on a next trip to the Wildtuin.

They didn't prepare for us, even though we booked 6 months in advance. We were moved to three different rooms. The first room was dirty and didn't have pillow cases and towels. We were then moved to the second room, which had a dirty bathroom and broken blinds, this too was not prepared for us. We asked for towels and they gave us worn out ones. The following day we were moved to the third room, this one was a beautiful room. But this too was not well prepared for us, we had to ask for towels again, and these too were worn out. Zebrina uses the cheapest quality in everything. The breakfast was so bad that we didn't go for it again the second day. We are utterly disappointed. They really don't deliver what they promise.

When I questioned if we were in a luxury room that I had booked and paid for, the owner attacted my husband and myself personally by asking if I was rich and which car I drove. The reason I asked is because the room did not resemble any of the rooms advertised on the website. He did however apologise.

I had a friendly reception and on departure the next morning the service was fast and friendly once again. Room was well equipped and neat, the mattress was a little hard and there were lots of electronic things like the TV, decoder, charger light etc. that had lights that blinked through the night and was a little irritating. Security was good and it has a central location.
